SBI guidelines for changing 2000 notes, no need for slip and ID

2 thousand note has been taken out of circulation. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) had announced on Friday that Rs 2,000 notes were being withdrawn. In such a situation, till September 30, all people can go to the bank to exchange their notes. The work of exchanging the notes will start from May 23. Earlier on Sunday, State Bank of India (SBI) has shared important information regarding the change of notes.

SBI has clarified that the facility of exchange of Rs 2000 notes up to a limit of Rs 20000 at a time will be given without demanding any slip. According to reports, no identification (ID) is required to exchange 10 notes of 2 thousand rupees. No form will have to be filled.
