PM Modi-Zelensky will meet for the first time after Russia-Ukraine War

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is in Hiroshima. He has reached there to attend the G-7 summit. Talks will be held with all the leaders in the meeting, but apart from that a bilateral meeting is also going to take place. PM can meet Ukraine President Zelensky today. According to sources, PM and Zelensky will meet this afternoon. Apart from this, PM will also hold meeting with the leaders of Japan, South Korea, France and Vietnam today.

This morning the PM unveiled the statue of Mahatma Gandhi. The meeting of PM and Zelensky is believed to be fixed this afternoon. If this happens, the two leaders will meet for the first time since Russia’s invasion of Ukraine last year. Earlier, Ukraine’s First Deputy Foreign Minister Jhaparov had come to India. He had also appealed for humanitarian help from India. India had also assured him of all possible help.
