Earthquake tremors have been felt once again in Japan. The intensity has been recorded at 6.2 on the Richter scale. At present, no alert has been issued regarding the tsunami.
Let us tell you that Japan is generally sensitive to earthquakes, after any knock of earthquake, there is the highest risk of tsunami here. Experts say that the danger is also high because electricity production in Japan is done through nuclear plants and there is a high possibility of damage due to earthquake. However, Japan’s atomic plants have been made capable of withstanding earthquakes of more than 9 magnitude. Earlier earthquake tremors were also recorded in Nepal.
How do earthquakes happen?
The main reason for the occurrence of earthquakes is the collision of plates inside the earth. There are seven plates inside the earth which keep on rotating continuously. When these plates collide at some point, a fault line zone is formed there and the corners of the surface are folded. Due to the cornering of the surface, pressure builds up there and the plates start breaking. Due to the breakdown of these plates, the energy inside finds a way to come out, due to which the earth shakes and we consider it as an earthquake.
