CM Kejriwal after meeting CM Mamta- ‘Non-BJP government by passing ordinance…’

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal held a press conference with West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Tuesday (May 23) regarding the central government’s ordinance. During this, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, MP Sanjay Singh, Raghav Chadha and Cabinet Minister in Delhi Government Atishi were present.

During this, CM Kejriwal said- ‘When our government was formed in Delhi in 2015, the central government took away all the power of the elected government of Delhi by passing a notification. For which we cannot post transfer of any officer, the people of Delhi struggled for 8 years as soon as the Supreme Court decided in our favor, within a week the decision of the Supreme Court was overturned by bringing an ordinance.

Targeting the Centre, CM Kejriwal said, ‘These people have made a mockery of democracy, here also they are undermining the elected governments in three ways.

The first thing where the BJP government is not formed, they topple the government by buying MLAs and form their own BJP government.

The second way is by using ED and CBI to intimidate and threaten the MLA and form the BJP government. Third, by passing new ordinances through the governor, they do not allow the non-BJP government to function.

We have seen examples of this in Punjab, Tamil Nadu and West Bengal, Telangana. Now what they have done in Delhi is completely against democracy.
